a few of the windows on my aircraft have some dirt in between the glass. I s there any way to remove the window and separate the glass and clean the windows? Or do I have to purchase new windows?

thanks,

John

If your '69 Turbo is like my old '69 normally aspirated, you can easily clean between the two windows. Just remove the inside plastic trim (careful, it's likeky become brittle and will crack easily) and you can get to it. I assume pressurized models are different, but your Turbo may be like my normally pressurized.

Hi!

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering how difficult it is to separate the two windows from the seal that separates them? do you have any experience with this?

When I cleaned mine -- remember, normally aspirated model -- I didn't have any problems. It was a snap. Being careful with the brittle plastic trim was the hard part. If I recall, there's just a rubber seal or gasket between the two panes, at the edge. On mine it wasn't glued to both panes, maybe to only one, so they come apart easy and go back together easy.
