If I had gone to Oshkosh, I could have also contributed to the "Ugly Leg Contest"... and probably won!:D

Skymaster owners are known for their intelligence and their beauty. Opposites attract thus the love affair with the skymasters......

And who wins the ugly leg contest?

Shame on you Bob--- comparing UGLE LEGS to a Skymaster! The
twin booms are a thing of bueaty and can only be compared to a fine work of art. Now for the knee caps in the photo, TOES-UP Larry got my vote! Ugleeeeee!!!

Hey Guys...

How about listing some names (left to right) of those folks in the first picture. I've seen a few names in print and a number of pictures but have never really been able to pin the appropriate name on the specific guilty party.

One of these days you guys will do something on the Right coast close enough for me to be in the game and THEN we'll see who is the king of ugly legs.

I would be happy to set something up for the guys on the right caost in the Richmond VA area. There's a nice field just north of us (in Maryland, I think filed name is Potomac?) where there are a couple of Skymasters but they are in a somewhat restricted flying area. I had always intended to go there and then 9/11 had to occur.

Anyway... So much for the long windedness. NAME THOSE GUILTY PARTIES!!

Herb Harney (Grand Rapids, MI) is second from the left. Kevin, our webmaster (oregon), is standing behind, and is third from the left. I (Larry Bowdish) have the Goombay shirt, 4th from the left, Jefry DeSantis is Next, and the guy in the hat is a friend of his, whose name I don't remember. The first person on the left is someone Jerry met, and I don't know his name.

The man on the left is a new Skymaster owner I met at the Riley Skymaster exhibit. I don't recall his name but I think he is from the Washington D. C. area. The person on the right is Terry Hubbel a 172 driver and a friend from Battle creek, Mi.
Cheers

its them hats that we need to work on... (the reflection off some of them shiners is really bright)...we need to get some that say skymaster on them like what is below.... that way we can all have something .... well at least the hats will all be somewhat alike... I know Larry would probably get his greasy first off.... smile...

A good hat would be a good thing. Something with a Skymaster on it, like the thing you put up. You'll notice that jerry has one on in the picture.

I think Skynight has some too... but, the original design was done in the 70's ... by a gal who was in the original skymasters club and it has colors... red white and blue... some were lithoed on hats and shirts.. but, others were patches embroiderd on the same... I have the plate somewhere for the original.. as well as the program for the cad cam sewing machs that make the patches and embroder the shirts and hats... but, its old.. and may need some upgradeing to make more... I will look it up if your interested... I know I gave it out to a few people who were going to see about getting some made... with N no's or not on them... I think they were going with the patches and have the put on the hats and shirts by sewing them on... as the cost/quantity thing was the issue... GMAs

Larry would just get his greasy.... and not look good... for the club... besides if he had worn one down in the Cay... we all would have gotten arrested for damaging the trees... till someone confessed.... smile... GMAs
