I am looking for a stall switch for my 1976 P337. Cessna calls it a "lift detector", with the Cessna part number S1672-10 or the manufactururer Safe Flight 191-1. Does anyone have a serviceable unit?

I find the phrase "lift detector" somewhat intruiging for a stall switch. Gotta hand it to those marketing guys.

I assume because you inquired about a serviceable unit you must have priced one of these lovable fuzzy "detector" on line? OUCH. I am going to be really careful about making sure mine stays in working condition. That's unreal, the price they want for that. What happened?

There has been times while cleaning bugs that I have slammed across that unit but now I know to be extra careful.

The site on ebay that has the Skymaster that is being parted out, wonder if they have one?

Mine needs to be replaced and I cannot fathom how they could ask for such a price for this part. I have not seen the unit removed but how complicated can such a part be? Makes the reed horn type in a C172 look really attractive right now.
