2 piece door off of a 1973 Skymaster 337G with 1600TT. In very good condition. All of the airframe attaching hardware is available as well. Door is not damaged, although just in front the cowling is dented.

Any way to fit an airstair door into an earlier model? The opening appears the same. Maybe just the mounting hardware?

I am not sure - I was going to do it with mine, but then I found an O2 door and fell in love with the extra window and visibility!

Maybe some other members can weigh in?

I will be able to provide you both the door and the frame/all hinges/ locks, etc off of the airframe, so you would have everything you need.

Thanks!

I am getting my paint done soon, so trying to accelerate other dream items...like the clamshell door, but also interested in an O2 door. Would you mind sharing some info?
Where did you get the O2 door, how much was it, is a straight repalcement (mechanically and paperwork wise with the FAA)? Did you also replace the panel just in front of hte door with the O2 window (I noticed at OSH that they have a window lower door, and hten another window kinda low down, just front of the door).

Hi Robert,

Just curious, where are you located in NC? I am based out of Halifax, KIXA.

As far as the O2A door, It simply bolted on. I used the hinges off of the regular door. I was allowed to install it by having the mechanic reference the 02A service and parts manual - basically having them write in the log books installed per 02A service manual.

If you are interested in the clamshell door, I will sell it for $200.

Thanks!

Mike

I don't have the lower rear window in front of the door. You can install it by using the O2A parts, and again have it signed off by your mechanic as installed per O2A service manual. However, this would require removing the front panels, installing the proper ribs/bulkheads, and then putting in the windows.

As far as purchasing an O2A door, I found a O2A being parted, and bought it for $400. However, you can call Don Meisser at Commodore Aerospace. I am sure he either has one or can locate one for you.

Thanks!

Mike,

I am located in Charlotte. I got an O2 door from Don Neiser that should suite my needs. Can you email me the contact info and home airport of your mechanic? I would like to look at flying my plane over to have the door swapped out, and maybe we could grab lunch and talk Skymasters or somethin.

Tony,

I actually only need the upper half. Tell me a bit more like year and model. I am looking for a P337 upper door and am willing to buy a "rebuild." Thanks!
