We have a '65 337 and the rubber in our fuel caps no longer provides a seal. Anyone have a set of four they wish to sell?

I'm not familiar with the fuel caps on the 65 model but on my 1973 337G model I was able to replace all the rubber on my fuel plugs from a company in Wisconsin....

Search "lever type expandable rubber plugs"
The plugs look curiously similar to the factory rubber fuel plugs that were in my C337 but the plugs are not vented.
I measured the size of the fuel port and purchased a few different sizes because I was never happy with the fit of the original Cessna plugs. Off hand I cannot recall the dimension I ended up using but I was able to find a very snug fit that I am very confident in for not much money, even though I ended up with plugs I did not use. It was not worth the effort to return them and the folks there were very helpful.
I simply disassembled the plug that I purchased and used the neoprene rubber that came with the new plug. The rubber was all I was after. They would not sell me just the rubber only the entire cap assembly.
I used the new rubber on the original Cessna vented cap and all is right with the new plug.
Good Luck.....

I don't see that these are approved for 337's but is this what you are referring too?

Didn't find the lever type plugs.
Evidently John Russman mentioned they "Thermos Plug with Lever Style" has an AD or SB and there is a replacement kit sold by someone. Once I learn who I'll post it.
Herb, I believe the Monarch ones are close to what John mentioned. I'll need to find the exact replacements.

Larry I have the replacement kit from Cessna to change from old style to the vented caps, like on single engine Cessnas. I have the blue print that goes with the install kit. The only parts I don't have are three of the humped fuel cap covers, but you get them from Don Nieson for about $30-40 each (used). This kits are fairly easy to install and only needs a logbook entry-no Form 337 required. If interested e-mail me at bstory@pa.rr.com or call 814-673-6863c
