My dad and I definitely plan to attend, unless the sky falls in. Any word on whether they are really having it or not?

Ladies and Gents,

FWIW, I attended the CPA seminar in Dallas a few years ago when I bought my first Skymaster... and I had a blast. I learned a heck of a lot about things I had never thought of... got a lot of good info in book form and met a lot of other new (and long-term) owners to swap stories with.

Well worth the money. I would it do again, if schedule permits.

See y'all in Key West (or the Bahamas or Miami).

I got email from Tom Carr at the CPA this morning.

Here is a quote from Tom's email:

The class is listed in the schedule in the CPA magazine and the hotel logistics are being worked out. Hopefully this detail will be worked out this week. The hotel CPA was planning on using does not have the meeting room available for the 182 class on the previous weekend. There are 13 signed up for the 337 class so it is a go as far as I am concerned. Just trying to work the new location details.

How do you sign up? Phone or email them at the contact information Peyton provided, and I have repeated below.

call 800/343-6416 or 805/922-2580 or contact Seminar Coordinator Glenda Gamble mailto:glenda.gamble@cessna.org for further information.

You know, until, and unless, we announce a gathering, they have nothing scheduled for 337's. Now, conveniently, it is being held a month before our event in KEYW. It was the same thing when we tried to get a meeting in the Bahamas. It's the same thing everytime. Ask them to hold their meeting the month AFTER ours. See how receptive they'll be to that.

Sorry

Larry - I think this seminar has been in CPA's email to their members since Mid November. Sorry, I just hadn't thought about posting it for SOAPA until last week. Not sure of the exact start date but it has been there for a couple of months.

Sorry, I'm just ranting.
