You too. Call the Oshkosh message center number when you arrive, I'll post your location, spot number, etc on the web site before I leave if you like. I can also make a sign for the ground guys asking them to direct me there, in addition to the new three letter signs they want.

See you there! I'm off to Canada again today, to pick up my friends after they finished their bicycle trip, and to enjoy myself for a day...

Last minute business changes make it not possible to come to Osh. We had high hopes of coming.

Does anybody know which airports near OSH:

1.) Allow camping AND
2.) Have transportation to the show?

I know Fond Du Lac does, Appleton does not allow camping. Any others?

Just in case the field is full...

I looked at arventure.org, and they say that Brendan Airport, 79C, has camping and transportation.
Also RVY has camping, but no transportation, only rental car.

Thanks Larry. You are better at web surfing than me. I tried to find it...but could not. What page was that info on?

General Aviation Parking is full as of 11AM this morning, CDT. Camping is 90% full.

has the data on alternate airports. I also noticed that GAP is 100%, and GAC is 90%. I wonder what that portends for us. Should I be making alternate arrangements? I understand from the airventure.org site that camping is 3 night minimum. That would mean that come friday am some of those folks could be leaving.

I just don't know Larry. Maybe others will have advice. I will try to go to Fond Du Lac or Brendan if OSH is full.

Kevin, call me when you refuel after 16:00z and I will report conditions.
If things are full I will move over to Fond du Lac which has reasonable transportation, but not without parking on the FBO ramp if necessary.

I think we should find some room.
