Looking for 337 plane ride
My wife and I have settled on getting a Cessna 337 in a year and half after we sell some property. I have a friend that is a I.A. and he has flown them. I'm a pilot and A&P. I have not flown in a 337 but feel that it would fit our needs. We live in Pensacola, Florida and would love to pay the fuel and dinner for a flight in a 337. If someone within a couple hundred miles would fly us around for an hour that would be awesome. We have family in Orlando so in Orlando area would be great too. I'm leaning toward pressurized.

Most of those views come from search robots, not people.

thanks red air. You guys are getting closer. I do have family in Jonesboro, AR. so in the northeast Arkansas and Memphis Tennessee area would work too.

If only I had a 337 so I could fly to Michigan. I seen some of the videos of the Michigan flying group. they were awesome when they went to the bahamas

Battle creek.
Come to battle creek, mi and I'll let you fly my plane.
Cheers Jerry |
That is tempting Jerry but the 1000 miles and cold weather is the only thing stopping. lol

When you're in Orlando you might contact the guys over at Titusville airport, @ Airscan. Their facility is very secure but they would probably take you on a ride they have some very nice airplanes, when you contact them tell them your an A&P
They probably won't take you one of these secure surveillance aircraft but they have others around there |
Thanks general, I will contact them and hopefully they will be open to taking us for a ride. I'm not sure exactly how to ask them but I will.

P337g
When you get ready to purchase a Press. Skymaster, contact me. I am nearing the end of my flying career and will be selling N34EC. It is loaded: air cond., spoilers, turbo charged, inter coolers etc. I owned this plane over 20 years.
Cheers Jerry |
Thanks Jerry, I sent you a p.m. maybe in a year or so we can make a deal.

Hi,
I'm replying to your August 2017 post on the Skymaster website and wanted to see if I could pay you to take me for a flight in your 337 (or I guess technically pay for gas, plus consulting to keep the FAA happy!) and maybe buy you lunch so I could get your opinion and thoughts on the Skymaster. I live on Sugarloaf Key - down by Key West, and lost my Piper Arrow in Irma. I was already tempted to sell the Piper and possibly buy a Skymaster, but now I'm "planeless" so a little more motivated. I have never even ridden in one; just admired them on the ramp and read everything I can get my hands on about them. Unfortunately, there's not one located down here, so I haven't been able to get any real world experience in them. Hope to hear from you, Thanks, Nate |
GAdams will you be at sun n fun this year? Maybe we could get a ride then, we plan to attend and will be staying in the villages north of Orlando.

Who are you replying to? I think you are on the wrong thread..... |
Thanks, Herb. I meant to private message the original poster - I'm new to the forum. Sorry to interrupt the flow of the thread. Thanks so much for putting all this info. in one place and creating/operating this forum. It's very helpful for a prospective 337 buyer!
