Flap cable running from control to flap motor

I am just finishing up this years's annual and need a new flap cable, the one that runs from the flap lever to the flap motor, at the back of cabin.
If anyone can tell me a good place to get one and the approximate cost to change it out.
In looking at the parts manual and seeing how it runs to the back of the plane, I am anticipating an considerable ordeal.
Any suggustions would be greatly appreciated.
Rick

Parts

Go to PARTS SOURCE on this web site and look for Don Nieser, he has new cables.

I replaced that one ("Follow-up Cable") about 4 years ago. It cost $650 then, plus labor to install.

New flap cable

I got a new one from www.iwantcessna parts for $225. Don Nesser had one used for $150.
My mechanic is putting it in this week, total cost of labor including annual etc 2,500.

It could be my memory was faulty and it was $650 for everything with labor included. ??

I did find that any leakage in the avionics hatch can be bad for the cable (and other throttle quadrant cables), because that water tends to get into them and cause them to rust up and fail way earlier than normal. Another good reason to have tight sealing on that hatch.
