Hi all
Just a inquiry regarding employment for an Avionics Engineer in th US.
I am currently considering getting out of the UK and looking at various ways to do this.
I have worked in the GA side since 1967 and worked on electrics and radio systems in most Cessna, Beech and Piper types.

I am not licensed or hold a US visa, but I will deal with that in time.

Just an inquiry just to see what is out there.

Thanks
Regards
Pete

First thing is you have to speak spanish. Second thing is you have to sneek illegally into America from Mexico. Then you will only be an "undocumented worker" -- and the government will bend over backwards to give you amnisty. Then you'll be able to collect social services and bring the rest of your family over. In fact, if you have more kids you really wont have to work at all.

You are so right, maybe the only answer!!

Cheers

Pete, I think the last response was mostly in jest. The reality is that foreigners who have a skill and education, and speak English, are given overwhelming priority over others (see, for instance, www.miamiherald.com/418/story/123875.html).

Yes Ernie it was totaly in jest and it was not to offend anyone.
If it has i am sorry for that.
I think end of subject and continue with the original question.

Regards
Pete

No, Pete, I didn't mean your response, I meant the one which preceded it.
