solved-no oil temp guage reading
 

yep, everyone was correct the rear engine oil cap that the line boy did not put back on (and dumb me for not checking becuase i am less the 8' and too lazy to go find a ladder after the fact) broke the wire at the oil temp sensor, spliced and a new lead and all is ok, thanks for all the suggestions
