Help repairing nose gear actuator

My A&P is about to start repairing the nose gear actuator on my 337G to correct a small leak of hydraulic fluid. He's done it before on the main gear actuators but not on the nose gear, and the manual has little or no information on this. Anything he should know? Any special tricks? We already have all the parts (O-rings, etc.) he may need, but is there anything else he should be aware of?

Thanks,
Ernie

Nose gear actuators on a G model arn't too hard to do. Just make sure he measures it before he takes it apart. I think the manual gives you the length from the down lock pins to the mounting hole in the other end. Older actuators have the uplock in them. Thats kinda interesting setup.

Kim, thanks so much for answering. I was hoping you would see my posting. On stuff like this I always hope to get a response from you. On electrical stuff I always hope Pete Somers replies.

Regards,
Ernie
