Cessna 400 autopilot
I did buy a P337G today, got a great deal from a friend of mine.
3500 TT, 400SMOH front and back. Last year the Cessna A/P stopped working he told me, completely failed. On the ground after switching the on/off switch the power light on the top right did not illuminate, assuming that what it is. I checked the fuse panel, and did not see an autopilot breaker. Its a 400 series, and it seems factory. No manuals either, but did download the manuals from scudrunner. They do not seem to match what I have in my 337. Suggestions ? Thanks all. Henri. |
If you can't tell which 400 version, post a pic. I'm guessing a 400A given the G model, but maybe a B. Either way, it ain't likely a straight 400 (like mine) and is, according to ample research, worth revitalizing in a lot of cases. We have few and poor choices for aftermarket for our airplanes, and a 400A or B will be a very steady position-based AP. You can still get them repaired too--virtually impossible with the straight 400.

I’m cleaning out our hangar now. I have several 400 autopilot systems. Some of servos still have the mounts with them. I may have what you need. Email me: geyer@wefly4u.com
