T337B Fuel Problem

Has anyone run into this problem:

After 30 min to one hour flight the front eng fuel pressure fluxtuates and if the boost pump is not turned on high for a few seconds the engine will quit. After the pump is run for about 5 seconds and turned off the engine will run normal the rest of the flight. This has happened several times and I have been unable to determine the problem. Any suggestions?

if it ia at lower setting you maybe sucking air. at higher there is an abundance of fuel, more that is required. at the lower settings you can create a slight vac. and if there is a leak it will suck in air and super lean the engine. look at the fuel strainer for stains, almost nobody rebuild them and the "o" ring get hard and lose thier seal. check the fuel pump, there are two bearing seals in the casing next to the engine?
