Control Column Ribbon....

The ribbon wire that goes thru the control column. I had problems

several years back with one of the switches on the control wheel.

I am having trouble with the map light now. If memory serves me

correct, I think my mech used another wire that ran thru the

ribbon to remedy the problem back then. I have noticed on other

337's a different arrangment, a heavy coiled wire coming out of

the lower panel and I believe going to the control wheel. Is there

a fix for other than the ribbon wire or is it best to try and replace

the ribbon wire? thanks, guy, the old 72 driver....

mine had problems a few years back.
was replaced with multi conductor cable
with each conductor shielded. never have had a problem since. took less than 3hrs
to fix.

Guy
Sent you an email regarding this.
Use a multicore coiled cable, and run under panel to the grey round connector which should be by the control column.

Regards
Pete
