Fuel Leak Between Main Tanks Solved?

Hello all, especially Herb, SkymasterO2 and Roger,

Well, the rain has eased up and I ventured out the the aircraft today. The aircraft was taxiied and parked on more level ground, with a slight bias towards the 'low level' tank.

Sure enough, the tanks read correctly with the fuel returning back to the empty (and slightly lower) tank.

There was no water in the tanks or the lines... so there must be a slight leak between tanks through the selector valve manifold. (The crossfeed valve is fully closed).

I will, in future, ensure the selector levers are placed in the 'OFF' position upon shutdown.

Whilst there should be no transfer between tanks, I am glad that the problem has been somewhat solved.

Thanks for all your suggestions.

Cheers
Conway

Conway now that you know it's leaking I hope your getting it fixed before flying? I once had the engines drain one main and quit right about 2hrs flight time and believe it was caused by cross over leaking.
