336/337 Data Base Page??????

Would it be possible to set up a page where we can list all 336/337's by year and serial and a quick note of their status.
If we could make it so any member could edit the list it would take the work load off Kevin. This way all the members can list their aircraft and any other ones that they know the status of. Can this be done Kevin???

It already has been done, by Peter at www.skymaster.org.uk. The "Current Regs" menu entry is the list you want, and the "Database" entry (both on the home page) allow you to enter your data.

I don't know whether this updates automatically, whether Peter has to do it, if it works, etc. Somebody try it!

Blue skies,

Kevin

I tried it, it works. But it only shows one aircraft at at time. It would be nice to see a single list with all the serial #'s and years in order. That way we could see how many of a certain model still exist. I would be willing to fill in the blanks for all Canadian registered aircraft

Well, the Current Regs menu item on Peter's site used to do what you want, but it crashes with an OLE error now.

If someone with MySQL and PHP experience wants to volunteer to build such a page, I will be happy to post it. I am working 10 - 12 hours per day right now, and as you can tell by the fact that the rest of the site is sorely in need of update, I just don't have the time to do it.

Sorry.

Quick question. Can we have one post on the message board that can be edited all members.
I will start it with a list of 337's and people can add to it??

No, unfortunately I would have to dig into the bulletin board code to do that, and since another task that needs to be done is to upgrade to a newer version of this board software, that work would be lost.

Sorry,

Kevin

I am willing to provide the full history of each 336/337 ever operated in Australia and Papua New Guinea and New Zealand if some body still wants to get that list going.

You can go to the FAA site

http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinqu...ef_inquiry.asp

type in Cessna and 337, then t337, then p337 and you will get all the 337's in US registry. You may have to punch in M337 for the o2's. It take a little playing with to figure it out but it works real good.

Have fun.

FAA RECORD NOT UP TO DATE

I just looked at the FAA registration list for Cessna 337. I purchased my ship back in 2000 registered that same year, and it was not there. So much for their up to date list. Dale Campbell

Dale,

Try a little harder.

Some O-2's are registered as O-2A, and some under M337B, no rhyme or reason, just another FAA foopah.

FAA RECORD NOT UP TO DATE { error}

I finally found the information. The only way to find my ship, is you have to type in the N number. Try any other method and it will not come up. I did and found the error on the engines as they are Rolls Royce/Continental not Lycoming as they have listed. I requested the change. Lets see if they ever change it. I have been getting all the Lycoming Bulletins and none on Continenal from FAA. Now I know why. Dale Campbell
