Hydraulic Problems

Had a near mis the other day. I took off from an Airshow in Florida to go back home to Ohio last week. I had done a very through preflight before the long flight. I popped the cowls, filled all fluids changed oil went over the aircraft very closely. On our way back we landed to refuel. We found a puddle of hydraulic fluid just behind the nose wheel. I found that the air ducting hose that leads to the back of the engine had chaffed though one of the hydraulic lines. I am sure this was not present when I left. I put about 12 hours on it over the weekend. We flew home with the gear down. PLease check your aircraft . I heard another O2-A had a similar problem and was a gear up landing.
