Avionics just upgraded - Avionics suite looking for good home
Good morning fellow 'thrasherists:
I have had a full blown Avidyne suite just put in, replacing everything. Thus, the following 28v are all looking for a good home All complete with trays, ready to rock, all working. All new faces maybe 5-7 years ago, so look and feel new. DME brightness down to maybe 75% Before I do the ebay thing, I thought I'd reach out to fellow Skymaster brethren. 1. NAV/COM with GLIDESLOPE KX 155 + KI109 GS 2. DME KN62 3. COMM KY97 4. TRANSPONDER Garmin 330 5. ADSB OUT NGT2000 Replaced en masse with Avidyne 550, 440, AXP340, AX240, TAS 605. Ooo la la! Any reasonable offer considered, all or in part. |
I am interested for I am looking at an aircraft that will need full avionics. All present original radios are placarded inoperative. I just don't even know where to start figuring out what to offer.

Hmmmm.
Oh, I dunno.
I've got them on ebay individually. But they are still wired together on my bench. The KX155 remote fills selected frequency to the KN62 DME etc. My guess as to reasonable value may be...what? Looking at SOLD items on EBAY, (not hopes and dreams) below I think are pretty good reasonable quick numbers KX155 NAV/COMM w KI109 glideslope $2,200 KY96 COMM what, $500 It is the LCD version of the KY97. Great little radio. KN62 DME, what, maybe $750 these seem to be at quite a premium GARMIN 330 hmmm. Lots of them for sale. Maybe $500? Throw in the NGT2000 UAT out (might be an NGT 2500) ..just because. Say $4k even for a quick sale of the whole set? ------- For another $500 and I will throw in a Avidyne TAS 600 processor It works but has an xmit issue. I bought a few of them on ebay hoping to get lucky to replace my DE luxe one, the model that goes on a lear jet, only to find out later avidyne's flat rate OH was less! Avidyne w flat rate OH is $2,500 Then you'd need antennas, then you'd have a $12k active traffic system for under $4k Such a deal! Of course, I would prefer them to go to another 'thrasher. |
