Cabin is very hot!

Since I have owned my 337F it has been very hot inside the cabin after the front engine warms up. In cruise it feels like the heater is on high all of the time, even though all of the environmental controls are in the OFF position. The heat is coming from the floor area on the passenger side. Any suggestions on what I can do?

Go to the firewall and check your cable that controls the air/heat to the cabin. Sounds like it's broke or stuck in the heat position. You can disconnect the scat tube from the muff around the exhaust muffler for the summer months. Your mechanic will know how to take care of it.

Similar issue (but not the same)

I've always gotten complaints from my middle passengers about the temp. While helping with the annual this year I noticed that the vent line was kinked where it enters the cabin from the wing. The tubing was surprisingly pliable, almost like a neoprene material. Anyone have similar findings? I want to make it a smoother curve before it turns into the cabin, and was considering either changing the type tube, putting in a PVC elbow, or running a similar diameter spring inside of it to force it to stay open. Any thoughts?

Just as long as it's certified
