Leaking Window Over Fuse Panel (337B)

I was taxiing today in the rain and noticed water was leaking (small) in my small side window pilot side, the one you can open, and water was dripping down from it directly over the fuse panel.

Im not sure how to fix this but i thought i’d mention it.

Hopefully yours isn't leaking.

There is a rubber seal that seals the storm weather door. Might be that or maybe it’s not even there. It could be the frame also as it should be sealed to the window on the exterior side.

CB panel wetness

Yes, of all placed to get wet...

Water getting past the windshield or even condensation inside can also run down the inner left edge and drool down there.

Every few years I go through the ritual of resealing the edge along the plexiglas.

1. Autozone painters tape right along the edge of the airframe
2. Another line of painters tape about 1/8th down the plexi
3. Smear some decent flexible outdoor sealant between the two lines of tape.
4. Wipe excess
5, Remove tape
6. Let dry
7. Go flying
8. Stay dry
