Heater

I have the gas heater (1967 turbocharged model). THe heat worked fine on the ground today but in the air it goes cool.

What should I look for? Seems to me that I heard when that happened that it was a sign that the air switch is bad - but can't remember for sure and might not have it right anyway.

Check that the combustion blower motor is running ok.
Take out the spark plug and service it.
Make sure the vent fan is running ok.
Clean the fuel filter.

Thanks all for the input. I'm working on it.

Here's another link that may pay off for heater services:

These guys are comparable to anyone else out there, IMO. I am getting a zero-timed heater from Kelly Aerospace (aka Janitrol) for $1512. Not quite as nice as having one of the new ones from C&D, but a lot less money and less reinstallation effort.
