Can you guess what a Skymaster cost?

I have a friend who frequently flies his family in a single-engine airplane to the Bahamas and is thinking about perhaps switching to a Skymaster after two recent incidents*. Would any of you be willing to guess what a naturally aspirated, well maintained (but not perfect) 337 would cost with mid-time engines, conventional (steam) panel, fresh annual and all ADs in compliance?

$25,000 - $50,000 will give you a large selection of mid to high time engined Skymasters. Really sad for the owners but great for the buyers. Just find one that is being used and flown regularly

Any 172 that starts is worth $30,000 today and they go up from there. Amazing.
