Howdy : just a follow up on wing extension and tip tanks program. Owen did a great job. My old weight and balance was way off. The new one shows n576 hg @ 3400lbs. It must have gained weight sitting in the hanger. The wing tips combined with the R stol help with the lift and climb. The tips flex up during flight.
Climb performance is improved. With the loads carried in this aircraft I cannot help thinking of that c-130 firefighter that went tits up. Owen has a good fix for the front door. Mine has a stainless steel piston tube and goes fully to the stop. Also new plastic on the rudders. It was a pleasant experience and I can recommend aviation enterprise and Owen Bell .
