Marshall Michigan Fly In Sept 6
 

Marshall, KRMY, is one of those airports that have come close to extinction. They had an FBO for a long time, then it went away. Over a reletively short period of time, they got and lost 2 more. The town also saw the departure of many businesses, and a significant decline in it's tax base. The town was ready to abandon the airport. A group of volunteers has worked with the town, and kept the airport viable. There were several months where the fuel, in the tanks was unavailable. They have recently added a credit card machine, so now fuel is available. It's in the process of turning around. They are holding a breakfast fly-in, Sept 6, 2008. I would encourage everyone who can, to attend. The airport needs the support. Their flier is attached.
