Main Landing Gear Uplock Marks
 

Anyone have any comments on minimizing the marks on each main landing gear caused by the uplocks? Seems the marks on the paint are getting worse over time and constant touch-up seems to prove little help.

I am not sure if clear speed tape is an option....the marks are actually larger than what is shown in the picture.....as always, thanks in advance.

This is very annoying especially with the new paint job that I have. I haven't explored any solutions yet but the clear tape was a thought. I just don't want to inhibit anything in the locking mechanism.
