Help

I received this message last night, a fellow aviator looking for help. I pulled up the ol iPAD, and fired up ForeFlight, to take a look.

If I was going to do it, I would flight plan from Gustavus to Ketchican, to Oak Harbor, to Chehalis. PAGS - PAKT - KOKH -KCLH. Maybe KBLI instead of KOKH. This would avoid all the pesky problems with landing in Canada.

A little under 6 hours total.
The trick would be getting to Gustavaus. It looks like the closest air carrier airport is Juneau.

Howard left his cell number with me. If you can help him, let me know, and I'll send it to you.

Larry, I have a 1965 Skymaster in Gustavus, Ak. that I need someone to ferry down to Chehalis, Wa. OR I need to get checked out in one. Any help of someone in the area would Help. Chehalis, Wa. is halfway between Seattle, Wa. and Portland, Or. right in Interstate 5 [I-5]. . I have a multiengine, commercial, IFR rating. Any Help Would be Appreciated. Thank You, HOWARD SHAFER

Based on previous experience, I would go into KBLI as opposed to KOKH. It's a little closer to PAKT, and has an ILS incase the weather turns.
