Pilots side window

Hi:
Does any one knows of a modification for the pilots side window of a cessna 337g (not pressurized or turbo) where the window can be open like the pilots side window on a cessna 172

And if there one, where can it be done and how much would it cost to make the modification.

The summers in Yuma Arizona are hot.

Thank you

I have a 337G and I don't think such an STC exists. Furthermore, that window is the emergency exit window (I know not just by seeing the exit lever but because mine popped out in flight!), so I believe it would be quite costly to satisfy the FAA that your mod retains all safety aspects. I'm in Miami (read: also hot) and I sometimes survive looong taxiing (especially in Nassau) with just the small pilot window and the co-pilot upper door open.

I thought RT Aerospace had an modification that allowed the pilot side window to look like an O2. The window could also unlatch at the top and open for ground taxi operation. I don't know if that was an STC? I was going to look at it along with the O2 window modification in the passenger side door. Possible mod for myself in the future.

Window Mode

I had a vent scoop installed in the small triangle window on pilots side. It works great in flight on my 337H. It adds more fresh air for pilot side.

Thank You

I will check with RT Aerospace and see if they have a STC.

Thank you all for your information and advice.
