337 forms for 60 amp alternators and VR circuit
337 forms for 60 amp alternators and Voltage Regulators paralleling circuit
I've requested a copy of the 337 forms from CPA a couple of days ago, but have not received a response. Questions: 1) Can anyone else send me a copy of the forms? 2) Does anyone have experience with either of these changes (or have second-hand knowledge). 3) Does anyone know of any operational drawbacks to making these changes? Thanks, Tracy |
Form 337
1 Attachment(s)
I already sent this to Tracy, but I thought I would post here in case anybody else wants the info. Attached is the form 337 for my aircraft for the installation of paralleled voltage regualtors. It's a very simple operation. The original VR's were replaced with the same regulators used in 400 series Cessnas.
The original Form 337 I got from CPA also showed the replacement of the orginal alternators with 60 Amp alternators. I didn't do that, so my From 337 doesn't show that information. Unfortunately, I can't find the orginal form. But as I remember, all that was necessary was to swap out the alternators and run a larger gage wire from the alternator to the buss. Over the years, this installation has been trouble free for me. Both alternators are always "on line", and my volt/ammeter shows they share the load fairly well. Mark |

I have a 337 for N1049D as well as a supporting letter from TCM if you still need this information
