Where is the second day agenda for Nashville?
 

Just wondering where the second day agenda is?

Also, since Owen Bell is in Nashville, I would like to see him included.

I know that Jerry has invited him. Also, as far as I know, he hasn't responded.

We are lining up some folks for the second day, alas, some of that is for me to do, and it is not completely finished.

2nd day agenda
 

Second day agenda is in process as Larry stated. But please let me clear something up.

I have called a number of people to assist in helping make this program a success. I am happy to report that most are very willing to help and put on a program we think will benefit the group as a whole.

I may call a person one, two or even three times to see if they would like to particpate and if they don't respond, I move on with things to be done. Also, I listed on this web page several times for people to step up and join in the planning.

It would be very nice if Owen or other people come to the meeting and in fact I hope they do. And, if they would like to put on a talk, that will be great too. However, once the agenda is set, it will be set and no matter who else wants to speak, they will have to do that at another meeting. That's why the second day agenda is still open. But you are right, we can't keep it open much longer.

So, again I ask, is there anyone who would like to particpate and present a topic that might be of interest to the group, please let me know.

Now, Some topics that are planned and yet not announced are:

A presentation of several trips across the ocean USA to Europe and return in a Skymaster.

A presentation for the spouses regarding handling the plane in the event the pilot becomes unable to do so.

A presentation on what to look for if oil temperture runs hotter than normal.

Possible check rides and retraining with a flight instructor.

Also, I will be traveling to Nashvolle next week to meet with the owner of the FBO and the hotel to make sure they understand what we are planning to do.

If you have not made your hotel room reservation yet, please do so.

I might be able to help in the presentation for the spouses regarding handling the plane in the event the pilot becomes unable to do so.

I have a document which I keep on the plane and alert passengers about on doing this. It tells a non-pilot how to communicate with ATC, how to control the plane and, after some practice in the air (slow descents, slow climbs, slow turns), how to land.
