Horton vs. Aviation Enterprises
Hello,
Can anyone out there tell me the difference between Horton STOL and Aviation Enterprises STOL kits? I.e., some physical difference that would allow the identification of one vs. the other? I got email from Spain, the gentleman is flying to Venezuela to investigate buying a 337G, the paperwork on the aircraft is muddled, and the shop that did the work is out of business. He needs to determine which kit was installed for some reason, before he can buy the airplane. Or at least so I gather from his mail. If anyone can help, please post here, and I will forward the response to him. I have already suggested that he contact airsport (Horton) and Owen Bell (Aviation Enterprises). Thanks, Kevin |
Owen Says
At Nashville, Owen said that his LE cuff goes right up to the cabin, while the Horton stops well short of it. Hope that helps. BTW, the email address we have for Owen is incorrect, does anyone have a correct email address (currently I have, as does the website owenbell@juno.com ).
Thanks |
Take a look at this photo from Peter's site
