There is only one supplier now. new is 1500 list and rebuilt is 637 including core (100$). Probably good to stagger them for safetly but murphy does work that way <G>. Cheap at twice...

They are dry pumps on the "P" and have a larger volume if the AC has boots. There is no alternates or STC'D electric replacments. We are stuck with OEM production.......

they are dry pumps and are larger due to the boots. I would like to get rid of the vacuum AI.

Sorry missed you the other day. Tell Ed thanks for all his help.
I inflated the boots and checked for leaks they were okay.
The pump is a 441CC I believe and they are notorious for short...

Rather hard to do when you have a turbo and positive pressure in the manifold <G>
Rather doubt you could get this approved on any AC....

The AI is used for the AP. I have a 2 1/4 T&B. Room is the problem. There are some other alternatives coming along and echoflight will be offering a AI display using a seperate sensor....

I check the guage by alternately starting and stopping the engines per the SB. The "FLAG" popped, however, the guage still read 5.5. The shuttle valve is always a source of concern.

I will look it up, however, I do know they are larger and thus more expensive than the standard pump. The last one was around 800 dollars plus installation. They do not seem to last for...

I lost ANOTHER vacuum pump deploying the boots last weekend... just when you need them the most!
Seem to lose them under 500 hrs (replaced 3 in last two...
