9.5 gph per engine = 72%?
Is that non-turbo?
My TCM engine chart (for turbo) says
about 12.2 gpm for 72%
Rich limit around 13gph lean edge around 11.3
9.5 gph on a turbo down around 55%
So yours is non turbo?

Wasp in the airplane
I regularly have an Episcopalian in my airplane.
Even worse, she has her pilot's license.
After 35 years, I just let her enjoy the flight.

The cylinders by your feet are 'self bleeding,' as their teeny weeny 'plugs' have a small hole.

What is YOUR starting technique?
Turbo engines have slightly lower compression. I beleive 7:5 to 1 vs 8.5
So may be easier than most to start?
