Well, maybe B2C2 sets constant power at 9.5 gph per engine?

For normally aspirated that's probably all you CAN get above 10k?

Then, at that power setting, B2CS gets

197 mph at 17k
185 mph at 10k...

9.5 gph per engine = 72%?

Is that non-turbo?

My TCM engine chart (for turbo) says
about 12.2 gpm for 72%
Rich limit around 13gph lean edge around 11.3

9.5 gph on a turbo down around 55%

So yours is non turbo?

Wasp in the airplane

I regularly have an Episcopalian in my airplane.

Even worse, she has her pilot's license.

After 35 years, I just let her enjoy the flight.

Technique?

The cylinders by your feet are 'self bleeding,' as their teeny weeny 'plugs' have a small hole.

Fill from the bottom up, at the wheel, until it drools out on the floor inside (put down rag!)

If...

The Plan

Thanks all for the leads.

I figured a cylinder for a TSIO 360AB3B would be readily available.

Oh boy, was I wrong.

Downside our on-field shop is also backing up.

So, if I could find a replacement...

Lightbulb What is YOUR starting technique?

Turbo engines have slightly lower compression. I beleive 7:5 to 1 vs 8.5
So may be easier than most to start?
