it also depends on if your going to use it for a part 91 or 135 aircraft. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with what earnie said but if you "shortcut" the accquision process it can make it...

Intercoolers

Walter,

As far as intercoolers go I've talked to several people about them and all who have them agree that the engines run cooler. I guess I figured that if you reduce the heat over all that would...

Hot Fuel

In another thread, I referenced page 2-3/2-4 of the 1974 P337 owner's manual. This is a discussion of the operation of the auxiliary fuel pump switches. I agree with others that there is no reason...

Gas Prices

FYI in Oklahoma City Car Gas has gone down almost $.50 in a week, saw it today for 2.47, a week ago it was 2.98. So hopefully Avgas will do the same. (I can always hope can't I???????)

High Altitude engine problems

If you look in your owners manual it should discuss this (it does in the manual for the 1974 Pressurized Skymaster, in a discussion of the Fuel System). Check Page 2-3.

Flying multi-engine airplanes IFR is not difficult but you really need to look and plan ahead more than when flying VFR.

Well,

the whole thing I'm trying to get across is you need to be careful about how you do leases, the reason the FAA tracks that so close is they are looking for illegal 135, (or 134 1/2)...
