I agree with Herb. Read everything Mike Busch and read Pelican's Perch on AvWeb. You will get so many opinions on this topic it will blow your mind. I am a "science and math" guy myself. That is to say I want to understand the science behind the information that people are telling me. John Deakin (Pelican's Perch), and Mike Busch do this very well. I'm sure there are others but these are the best I have found in my little opinion. In the short term until you get a chance to LEARN all the information that these guys are providing, keep your cylinder head temps at or below 380 F.
