I have had my turbo RSTOL T337D since around 1989

It has had a finetooth comb run through mine every year, so surprises are rare to none.

That said, while the basic annual is about $3k, have another $10 kin your pocket for whatever.

Also over that time, I've kept making upgrades and replacing anything worn etc.

My strategy has always do what must be done (obviously), as well as what should probably be done over the coming year before it might cause me any inconvenience. That way my bird is as reliable as a low-mileage late 1990's Honda, and I never get inconvenienced. My annuals are literally good for the whole year.

Occasionally, if the airplane going to be down because im doing other things, I will have some items knocked off before the next annual too.

I started by owning a helicopter and a 1970's LOTUS, so I learned my lessons early.
