I have been monitoring the new site performance several times per day since it came up. Almost all the time, it seems to be quite fast, performing acceptably. Very intermittantly, but it seems to be more often between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM PDT I find the site performing so slowly as to be unusable. Sometimes I get "connection refused", sometimes just very slow. But by the time I can get a hold of the hosting company to tell them about it, the problem is gone. It seems to last less than five minutes.
Is anyone else experiencing similar problems? If so, what time of day, where are you located, and who is your ISP? If you could respond to this thread, or send me an email at
kevin@337skymaster.com, and let me know each time you have a problem, it would let me know the magnitude of the problem, if there even is one. If there is, I can experiment with moving the site to another host...
