London Aviation Underwriters, Inc.

Hi all,

Has anyone used London Aviation Underwriters as an insurance company? Not so much as coverage but as a company.

Thanks, Guy, the old 72 driver....

Here is the quote summary: (London Aviation Underwriters, Inc.)

Liability: $1,000,000 CSL with passengers limited to $100,000 each passenger, each occurrence (all other people that are not passengers are covered up to $1,000,000 CSL)

Medical Payments: $5,000 each person, including crew

Hull: $90,000 ground/taxi/flight

Hull Deductibles: $100 in hangar, not-in-motion / $2,500 in-motion * The deductibles do not apply to a Total Loss.

Named Pilots: Guy Paris~ must obtain a new Medical Certificate and complete a new Flight Review every 12 months.

Open Pilot Clause (others flying your aircraft): Private pilot or more advanced, aged between 25 and 65, with an Instrument rating and Multi-Engine rating, a minimum of 1000 total logged flying hours as PIC of which not less than 250 have been in multi-engine aircraft and 25 hours in this aircraft make and model. And has had no accidents, incidents, violations, or suspensions within the past 5 years, and who has the Insured’s full approval and consent.

If you would like another pilot to be able to fly your aircraft than does not meet these requirements, just let us know and we’ll see about getting him/her named as an approved pilot on your policy.
