Thanks Herb....I will look into that part.

The area I am talking about I do not believe has anything to do with a fuel selector. On top of my inboard most fuel tank (between the boom and fuselage) there is an electronic type device with several wires which I believe sends info to the signal conditioner and ultimately to the fuel gauges. This device is secured with 6 screws and has a gasket between the device and the top of the tank. It is this gasket in question.
