asos/awos ceiling reports at night during ifr conditions are almost useless . is this a larger issue or just my freaky local weather conditions. just bought a used xm anyway pda weather system. previous owner bought a 396. its amazing what it can do. Its improving my near vision. probably just use it on the weather and pocket plates. J
