Hello. You can determine light or heavy case by looking at the top of the case where the two halves are bolted together. If the top of the cases have material removed between the bolt holes, making them look like Mickey mouse ears, then it.s a light case but if there is no material removed and is straight/smooth edge then , I believe it's a heavy case.
