Cowl Flap Motors

I'm curuious about conditions...

Is it usually the rear motor that burns up?

If so, is it usually the older models with the mechanical cable which drive the positioning section of the switch which burns up.

If the newer ones are burning up, is it typically in conjunction with a limit switch failure?

And the real important questions...

First, tomorrow I'm headed to Singapore for a week, then headed back home through San Jose. I will arrive there (San Jose) on Sept. 21 and be there for a week. If any of our guys live in that area, I'd be happy to look 'em up and say "Hi", or maybe "I'll buy you a beer."

I'm not exactly sure what my Internet connections will be over the next couple of weeks, but I'll do my best to follow up on this.

Jim
