Annual

Just came out of annual on '76 337G. Cost about $6,600 of which about $3,300 was parts: new muffler, exhaust risers for RE and 12 spark plugs and other incidentals including a plastic vertical stabalizer tip. Inspection was $1,500 and labor rate $65. This was at AWM (West Memphis, AR) with local IA mechanic. This is his first annual on this plane and he said going in he was going to be extra critical the first time.

He had just finished an annual on a '78 337G and cost was about the same but owner paid for some parts directly so all parts were not included - but installing a reman was. Very good mechanic and been at this location a long time. Familiar with 337's but not what I would a super expert on them (e.g. GMAS.)

Last 3 years was done at Clarksdale Aviation at CKM (Clarksdale, MS.) Cost somewhat less but not significantly considering parts ordered this time.

Considerable maintenance done between annuals (July '02 to July '03) including spark plugs, ignitiion harness, mag overhaul, etc. by CKM mechanic.
