Prop "wiggle"

It is a common issue and allowable. The McCauley Propeller owners maintenance manual (I assume that you have a Mc Cauley prop) is available to you online. It list the allowable movement in the blade at the tip (forward and aft cordwise) as .125" at the tip of the blade.
I just went through this with my newly overhauled prop. I was on a trip recently and away from base when during the preflight I felt the prop move... I was not happy and called the prop shop. They explained it to me, and then fixed the prop with a very small shim. But as far as they were concerned, they were happy to just leave the prop as is.
