I have a 69 337D,
My first Annual cost me $5K+, and the engine change was an additional $5K. We bought the plane needing a new front engine. Got it from Airpower.

My second annual cost $2200, including the inspection, and it was owner assisted for much of the time. I took all the access plates out, and the interior. I was there for 1 day of the inspection, and not there for 2 days. They changed the alternate air box on the front engine, and 2 motor mounts on the rear engine, along with 1 tire, and a couple of hoses.

I do my own, assisted, oil changes. The place I did the last annual at sells me the oil, and I do it there. cost about $65 for an oil change, and I am religious about doing it every 25 hours. Oil is cheap, engines are expensive.

The only other major items we've had to fix were the radar display, about $2200, and the second transponder, about $350. This year I need to do the Spar AD, and new control cables.
