Good looking bird Rick!
I wonder if your plane is any relation to this one? I always liked that scheme since I first ran accross this pic on AOPA.

Nice instrument panel. What is the instrument below the #2 nav indicator. I would assume an ADF head or some such, but then what is the instrument to the left of the turn coordinator?
Anyway, nice pictures, nice looking airplane. Kevin |

Kevin,
Below the Nav 2 head is a back-up DG, and to the left of the turn coordinator is the ADF head.

Thanks. Backup DG is an interesting choice. I have an electric backup AI in my airplane, seems like that would be a more valuable backup. Why do you prefer the DG, or is there a historical reason for this...

Kevin,
A backup AI would be my first choice as well but this was already in the airplane. I could see a backup DG if one was using a Sandel EHSI. The next thing to do is to pull the ADF and then put a backup AI where the head is currently located. Rick
