$100.00 hamburger
got 2 places that i have been to in la. the first one is jennings la. 3r7. you can taxi up to the gate and walk about 100 yds to the holiday inn. you can get a good hamburger there. 100LL is $2.60
the next place is marksville la. kmkv. by the time you land and taxi up and park the bus from the casino is there to pick you up. its about a 5 min ride to the casino. thay have a great buffett. just one note-- don't let the one arm bandits get all your gas money. i fly up there about once a month. 100LL $2.45 oh the bus will even take you back to the plane. rick |

I've had lunch several times at the Holiday Inn (stayed overnite as well.) It's good and there are other good cajun places nearby but you'll have to get a ride or a cab.
Been to Marksville many times but not since the casino opened. Thanks for reminding me. Monroe (MLU) has a great plate lunch restuarant in the terminal - a short walk from the FBO (north end of field.) Lafayette (LFT) has a terminal restuarant a short walk from Fornet FBO. Lots of locals. |
