Vacuum Pump Couplings

Has anyone been experiencing Dry Vacuum Pump coupling failures recently. I have a 1975 P337G. Two rebuilt dry vacuum pumps installed on front engine and the coupling on both failured within minutes. The vacuum pump is a model 441CC-3.
