Any Lawn Chair Lawyers out there who may want to take a crack at a hypothetical. For example, If someone on our board finds a regular electric motor that would substitute for a cowl flap motor, can we as individuals buy it from the manufacturer and install it without a PMA, just a notation in our logbooks?
