Pilot needed to fly puppy to NH

A volunteer pilot (with plane) is need in Memphis, TN to help transport a 2 month old puppy named "Lucas" to either New Hampshire or the Boston, MA area the weekend of 24 May.

The current situation is this: "Lucas" was at the Memphis Shelter and had been brought in with a large cut on his leg.The owner had improperly bandaged it instead of getting veterinary care and the dog had to go into emergency surgery Tuesday as the foot started to fall off as the leg had gone "dead".

The pup survived the surgery and is now at a private vet hospital in Memphis. We do not feel at this time that a road transport post surgery is prudent for him.

We are therefore hoping to find a volunteer pilot who can at least fly him to the NH/Boston where Julie could pick him up.
